Experiencing the loss of a loved one is one of the most difficult journeys of life any of us will ever need to navigate. Our mission is to walk alongside those who are grieving to a place of knowing Christ’s love, hope and healing by offering support, encouragement, and the means to a healthy recovery.
We offer the GriefShare program, a weekly support group which offers help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend. Each of the thirteen sessions includes a DVD presentation featuring experts on grief recovery and real-life stories of people who have experienced the death of a loved one. The video is followed with a small group discussion time.
GriefShare is offered at two different times: Monday evenings from 7:00 – 8:45 pm and Tuesday afternoons from 1:30 – 3:15 pm. Both sessions are also accessible through ZOOM.
There is no time limit on grief; so whether your loss happened in the recent past or many years ago, we encourage you to come.
Remembering our loved ones is an important part of our healing and we offer opportunities throughout the year for this. We gather for:
- A Candlelight service of Remembrance at 4:00 pm on the first Sunday of November
- The Lighting of the Christmas Hope Lights at 7:00 pm on a Monday evening in early December
- The Butterfly Release in either July or August
