If you would like to help the needy in your community, you can
by referring them to Servants, Inc. Servants' Home Helps
Ministry provides home maintenance & handyman services to needy
homeowners in York County. Their primary focus are single
parents, persons with disabilities and senior citizens.
You can call to refer those in need to Todd Jackson at Servants

Bible Study groups:
Grief Share - Monday evenings from 7-9 PM with Denise Wright.
Soul Care for Women meets twice a month for worship and Bible
study. Please let Denise know if you are interested.
Dates and times are 2nd and 4th weeks of the month: Tuesdays at 9:30 am
and Thursdays at 7 pm. All women welcome and encouraged to attend !
Every 2nd and 4th Sunday evening 6:30-8:30PM - Youth Group meetings -
planning and fun!
Men's Bible Study - 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 8 AM

Sewing Group - meets every Monday morning
in the Annex from 9-Noon
Food Box needs :
All canned goods, especially fruits, vegetables, soups, sauces
and gravies.
Boxed or bagged potatoes, rice, noodles.
Cake mixes, frosting, dessert mixes.
Pasta-macaroni, spaghetti, rigatoni, tomato sauces.
Cereals-boxed, instant oatmeal, cream of wheat, pancake mixes and syrup,
etc.
Jelly, peanut butter, jello, pudding, instant boxed desserts, etc.
Canned meats-tuna, salmon, chicken, turkey and spam.
Paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, bath bars, dish detergent
Deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo.
Salt, sugar, flour, etc.

Please place your grocery contributions in the basket located in the
church lobby (narthex) and THANK YOU !
Giant & Weis Gift Cards are available in the
church office each Sunday and benefits the Social Concerns ministry.
St. John's Social Concerns Ministry gets 5% of every dollar purchased on
these cards. The proceeds from these cards goes toward helping
local families in need.
Volunteers are needed to help out at the Lutheran Mission Society
Compassion Center in York to help out in their store, sorting
clothing donations and with general duties. If interested, please
contact Toni Gingrich at 717-846-0990.

Fellowship Breakfasts are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month
at 9 am in the banquet room of the Meadow Hill Restaurant, approximately
1 mile east of the church.
No RSVP needed.

Blood Pressure screenings are a free offer extended to all
friends and members of St. John by the Parish Nurses. It is held the
1st Monday morning of each month.
