SCRIP
St. John is now sponsoring SCRIP cards-cards you purchase at a set amount (this amount varies from card to card) on a WIDE variety
of different stores and store types.  Each card has a fixed discount associated with it, that when the card is used in that store for whatever you want to purchase, that percentage is sent to the church as income in support of some of our ministries.  Please help us!
Here is the file to download:   SCRIP     Please download the file, indicate the cards you will use to buy food or products in stores that you frequent, and send a check to the Church at the address listed at the top of this page.  Make the check payable to St. John Lutheran Church.  On the bottom of the envelope, please write: ATTN:  Tim Gabbert, SCRIP Coordinator.    Thank you.

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.  Romans 12:11-13
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1Thess. 16-18
